This queen rearing system is an essential tool for those in the practice. This system is very simple to use and it produces reliable results. It is made of high quality plastic material, which doesn’t break or age easily. It works by placing your queen beneath the queen excluder of your cup-kit box. The cup-kit box enables the queen to lay eggs directly into a plastic plug, which avoids dangers caused by grafting. This also ensures that the larvae is of the correct age. The queen then lays eggs into the cups before she is released again. The eggs are then given a little royal jelly as they develop and placed on the cell blocks and curler cages that come with the system. The developed virgin queen cells are then introduced to their new colony.

This system is made of plastic, yellow in colour and is convenient due to its portability to different parts of the apiary.

Usage guide:

Step 1: You insert the comb box into a frame and 110 brown cell starter cups are fitted into the back of it. This kit will enable you to raise queens without grafting or touching larvae.

Step 2: Confine the queen in the front cage where she immediately lays eggs into the available cells before release the next day. Newly hatched larvae is ready to transfer every 4th day.

Step 3: Remove each cell starter cup and insert into a cell cup holder, which is not included in the system.

Step 4: Slide this unit into a cell bar holder attached to a cell bar. The cell bar is bought separately from the system.

Step 5: Put the cell bar into the cell building colony.
